Link Bradford RUSSELL CONARD,´12 Informatics graduate, co-founder and CTO of Ornicept
Russell is a passionate entrepreneur and computer scientist with an interest in developing win-win solutions for environmentalists and wind developers. He turned his interest in birding into a dynamic startup, Ornicept, serving the emerging wind industry by identifying and deterring birds from potentially dangerous situations. Russell received funding from the 2012 BEST competition, jointly sponsored by the School of Informatics and Computing and the Kelley School of Business. He was recently recognized as a 2013 Forbes “30 Under 30” innovator.
Angelica Colantuoni LANCE RUSSELL,´91 Kelley graduate, co-founder of PointBridge (sold to Perficient in 2012), founder and principal of Russell Advisory
Lance is an entrepreneur who co-founded PointBridge, an information technology consulting firm specializing in cloud, collaboration, and content management solutions, which he grew into one of the top Microsoft consultancies in the United States. He successfully sold the business in early 2012 to Perficient. Lance is currently the founder and principal of Russell Advisory, a firm that provides advisory services and angel investments to start-ups and growth companies in technology and professional services. Lance is active with a number of Chicago-based non-profit organizations in the technology, education, and social services arenas.
Angelica Colantuoni MIKE TROTZKE, co-founder of SproutBox
Mike is a co-founder and managing member of SproutBox, a new kind of venture capital firm that invests talent in technology startups. He also serves as the CEO of one of SproutBox's initial companies, Squad Edit, a web-based code editor. Prior to founding SproutBox, Mike was a co-founder and CTO of Resite Information Technology, a software-as-a-service provider for the multifamily industry, and co-founder and CIO at political consulting firm WorldView Multimedia. Mike specializes in entrepreneurship, product design, and open-source development and is a sought-after speaker on topics related to web-based technology and startup culture.
